New Britain Borough’s greatest asset is Delaware Valley University founded in 1895. The University has 700 employees, 2,100 students and an annual budget of $58 million dollars.
The Borough’s economic development initiative has proactively seeded its future by creating a University Village -Mixed Use Overlay District to promote the creation of a college town on what was once a drive through community.
