Gourmet Italian restaurant and pizza shop
Located in one of Perkasie’s two shopping centers, this location had been vacant for over two years. Its owners, a husband and wife team, had previously been partners in a high-end Italian restaurant in Peddler’s Village. They were friends of the former restaurant owners in this location who had moved their restaurant business to Collegeville.
In a marketing survey performed while updating Perkasie’s Comprehensive Plan it was found that two-thirds of Perkasie residents were going outside of the Borough and spending over $10 million per year in doing so. There was a huge pent up demand for dining.
